This Tuesday, Chega questioned the Prime Minister about issues that, in the party's opinion, were not answered “fully” during the motion of censure.
In the document, the party led by André Ventura highlighted that “in the last session of the plenary meeting of this Chamber, held on February 22 of this year, the Prime Minister, Dr. Luís Montenegro, was unable to respond fully and in an enlightening manner to the questions raised by the Members of the CHEGA Parliamentary Group, presented during the motion of censure”.
Although the party admits that “it has nothing to do with, nor does it want to know about the Prime Minister's business activity, before his public political life”, Chega is also of the opinion that “the Prime Minister owes explanations to the Nation, in view of good governance practices, in the name of transparency and trust in political institutions”.
Therefore, Chega wants to know “who were and are SPINUMVIVA’s customers, from its foundation to the present date, informing their respective share in the company’s turnover each year?”.
Furthermore, the party also asked whether “there is or was any business, in the form of a contract, provision of services or agreement, carried out with the Municipal Council of Espinho, Vagos, or others led by the PSD”.
“Is there or has there been any business, in the form of a contract, provision of services or agreement, carried out with business groups or family holdings, whose activities depend directly on concessions. If so, when do these concessions end?”, asked Chega.
