EDP Group rises more than 3% and Lisbon surpasses European gains

The Lisbon stock exchange recorded significant increases in Monday's session. The PSI index added 1.62% to 6,819 points, benefiting mainly from increases of over 3% in listed companies of the EDP group.
EDP Renováveis gained 3.48% and shares reached 9.21 euros, while EDP advanced 3.33% to 3.135 euros. At the same time, NOS recorded an increase of 3.17% to 3.91 euros, while Jerónimo Martins advanced 2.70%.
In the 'red', Semapa slipped 1.27% and remained at 15.56 euros, while Galp fell 0.73% to 14.94 euros per share.
Among the most important European indices, Germany stood out for the best reasons, as the DAX, the benchmark index in Frankfurt, gained 0.63%. This was followed by increases of 0.46% in Spain and 0.20% in Italy, but not everything was positive.
The Euro Stoxx 50 aggregate index fell 0.51%, while declines of 0.78% were seen in France and 0.07% in the United Kingdom.
