Honor is excited and there are decisions coming soon

The Honor Division remains competitive and in this round 17, only one team managed to win away from home: Casa do Povo de Miranda do Corvo. The team from Miranda went to Penacova to beat Lorvanense, 2-6, and after 17 rounds they consolidated their 5th position.
The “top 4” played at home and did not falter once again. The S. João U-23 team remains in the lead, having collected three more points in the home match against Domus Nostra (4-1). Just two points behind are União 1919 and Chelo (who have played one less game). The unionists beat Vila Verde 6-4 (they have scored over 100 goals and have the best attack in the competition), while the Penacova team (who have the least leaked defence) beat Académica 5-2.
In 4th place is Academia de Condeixa, which, with a very young group, overcame another test of increased difficulty against CRI Alhadense, by an impressive 5-1. Santa Clara and Sarzedo remain in 9th and 10th places, respectively, having collected three more points. The team from Santa Clara beat Granja do Ulmeiro, by 7-4, the game with the most goals in this round 17. The team from the municipality of Arganil beat S. Martinho da Cortiça (the only team that has not yet scored) by the smallest margin: 3-2.
