Luís Ramos' list wins elections for the General Council

In second place was List C, led by Hugo Paredes, with 149 votes from professors and researchers, achieving five mandates for the General Council.
List B, led by Vasco Amorim, obtained 80 votes, having gained two representatives on the university's General Council.
In this election, 20 blank votes and five invalid votes were also recorded.
Speaking to VTM, Luís Ramos, who has already announced his candidacy for rector, revealed that he feels “a huge responsibility, an act of trust in building a future for UTAD. We are motivated to take the name of the university further, with everyone. We want a university of excellence in teaching and research, and one that continues to be an economic driver for the region”.
