Netanyahu returns to Israel this Friday after a trip to the US

At least eight people were killed in an Israeli attack in the northern Gaza Strip that targeted a school housing people displaced by the war, a source at Al-Shifa Hospital told Al Jazeera . The number of injured has not yet been released.

Athens-based ship operator Cosmoship Management said today that one person was killed and four were missing after an attack by Houthi rebels on the cargo ship Eternity C in the Red Sea.

The attack on the ship, which sank, was reported on Wednesday and the following day maritime authority sources cited by Reuters were already certain that four deaths had occurred .

The Greek ship, flying the Liberian flag, was carrying a crew of 25. So far, at least ten have been rescued , according to the US agency.

The Israeli prime minister has already departed Washington after a four-day trip to the United States, Haaretz reports. During the visit, Benjamin Netanyahu met at least twice with US President Donald Trump.
