Pinhel – Book Fair in the Urban Park

The Pinhel Book Fair returns to Parque Urbano, from May 14th to 18th. Music, poetry and theater are part of the program of this 22nd edition, which also includes meetings and conversations with authors and storytellers.
On May 14th, the opening of the event will feature the presentation of the show 100 Paredes – Centenary of the Birth of Carlos Paredes, which will include a participation by Bruno Costa with Portuguese Guitar and also a visit to the exhibition “Life and Work of Carlos Paredes”.
On May 15th, several presentations of the story “The Little Fish Who Discovered the Sea” are planned, with the actor Pedro Giestas (Teatro Invisível), for the school community. In the evening, it will be the turn of the Music and Poetry Group of the Pinhel Secondary School to take the stage at the Book Fair.
On May 16th, the highlight will be the Meeting with the Author Carlos Nuno Granja (activity aimed at the school community) and, in the evening, the Pinhel Music Academy returns to the Urban Park to liven up the book festival.
On May 17th, the afternoon will feature storyteller Rosa Gonçalves who will lead a Round of Stories and Poems. In the evening, it will be Beatriz & Carlos Cardoso's turn to share their music with readers.
On May 18th, the Book Fair comes to an end with The Bastard Poet saying “It’s Time for the Word”.
