Rafael Zulu reveals hospitalization due to energy drink use; video

This Tuesday, the 25th, Rafael Zulu said, on his Instagram profile, that he had atrial fibrillation, a cardiac arrhythmia in which the heart beats irregularly and rapidly, due to excess energy and needed to be hospitalized for four days.
The 42-year-old actor explained that he has been working very hard and about eight days ago, after enjoying a day at the pool with his family, he felt out of breath. "My heart started racing and got worse, I had palpitations in my chest," Rafael recalled. His condition worsened and he went to the emergency room at a hospital, where he discovered that his heart was fibrillating.
The artist explained to the cardiologist who treated him that although his mother's family had a history of hypertension, his tests, done at the end of 2024, were normal. Zulu also informed the doctor that he had spent the day drinking energy drinks. "I was hospitalized for four days, taking medication and having this atrial fibrillation monitored."
"It was a shock! But I'm fine now! If you can, take a moment out of your day to listen to this message that should be useful to you or someone close to you! A few days ago, I told you in this video that I had Atrial Fibrillation as a result of drinking too much energy drink. I was scared, very scared of what I experienced during those 4 days in the hospital!", he said.
"I've always been a guy who's super sensitive to these stimulants: caffeine, pre-workout and, apparently, energy drinks too. I wanted to tell this story so that it can be useful to everyone who, in some way, consumes, excessively or not, this type of drink! Take care of yourself because it's only when we're in the hospital that we realize that our health is the most valuable thing we have!" he added.
