Remo goes for it, beats GAS and advances in the Copa do Brasil

Remo defeated GAS on Wednesday night (26), in the first phase of the Copa do Brasil. With goals from Jaderson, Pedro Rocha, Ytalo and Maxwell, Leão secured a spot in the second phase of the competition by winning 4-0 at Estádio Canarinho.

THE GAME

The match started intensely, with both teams looking for opportunities to score. The first goal came in the 15th minute. Jaderson opened the scoring for Remo. GAS tried to scare the opponent, but could not finish on target. In the second half, in the 10th minute, Pedro Rocha extended the lead to 2-0, and soon after, Ytalo scored the third, thrashing the team from Roraima.

After 40 minutes, Maxwell scored the fifth for Leão and soon after, GAS could have reduced the deficit with a penalty kick, but Rangel saved Railson's shot. Thus, 4-0 for Remo, victory at Canarinho and a spot sealed.

NEXT COMMITMENTS

In the second phase of the Copa do Brasil, Remo will face Criciúma. Dates and locations will still be announced by the CBF.

For the Paraense Championship, Remo will face Cametá on Sunday (2), for the eighth round of the State Championship. On Saturday (1), GAS will host São Raimundo-RR, for the seventh round of the 2025 Roraimense Championship.
