TAP assessments to be completed in March

The Government – with the sector being overseen by Minister Miguel Pinto Luz – wants to sell a 49% stake in TAP in a process that should be launched in March and which should be concluded either at the end of this year or in 2026, according to “Bloomberg” in early February.
Among those interested are the European aviation giants: Air France-KLM, Lufthansa and IAG, the owner of British Airways and Iberia. In total, 12 airlines have already expressed their interest to the Portuguese government.
TAP is the leading European company in flights to Brazil, which is one of its main attractions.
