700 children take to the stage at the Messias Cinema Theater in Mealhada

The Messias Cinema Theatre, in Mealhada, hosts today sessions of the new show “Once upon a time... an UNsustainable journey”, starring 700 students from the 1st cycle of the Mealhada School Group. The project, integrated into the Escolíadas Júnior, reaches its 11th consecutive edition in the municipality, inviting the little ones to embark on an imaginary journey, where art and environmental education meet. In a playful and creative way, the show promotes reflection on sustainability and the importance of adopting more conscious behaviors towards the planet. Promoted by the Escolíadas Association and with the support of the Mealhada City Council, this artistic-pedagogical project encourages artistic expression in its most diverse forms, contributing to the development of critical thinking, creativity, cooperation, respect for others and the environment.
