Albufeira launches «Há Música no Bairro» competition to find emerging talents

The artistic community of Albufeira will have the opportunity to share their work with the initiative “Há Música no Bairro”, which aims to promote local artistic production, through a competition with several phases in which the best creations will be awarded a monetary prize.
«Há Música no Bairro» will take place for the first time in 2025, and will feature several rounds of a competition that will culminate in the selection of the three best artists.
José Carlos Rolo, Mayor of Albufeira , says that the aim is to “promote local artistic production. It is essential to support emerging talents, so that they can showcase what they do best.
