In total, more than four hundred students showed the final projects of their courses at the school itself.

ESAD.CR was transformed into a mega gallery between the 4th and 7th of June, when the exhibition “Não Faço – Exposição do Ano 2025” was on display. This initiative brought together the works of 400 final year students from that school who presented their final course projects to the public, thus celebrating the end of another cycle of higher education.

In addition to covering several exhibition areas – spread across the various ESAD.CR buildings – the “Não Faço” event featured performances and other interventions in public spaces and other artistic experiences, such as installations – “which made this edition especially dynamic and engaging, revealing other ways of thinking and creating from young artists and designers”, said the director, Cláudia Pernencar about the event that brought together the artistic proposals of students from the areas of Visual Arts, Design, Graphics, Multimedia Design, Ceramic and Glass Product Design, Industrial Design, but also Sound and Image, Cultural Management and Theatre.

For the director, the title chosen for the finalists' exhibition “was an intentional and challenging choice that aimed to provoke critical reflection on the concepts of authorship, artistic production and to explore the role of the creator in today's society”.

According to the head of the art school, “Não Faço” was also “an invitation to dialogue and questioning from each person, leaving the asterisk free so that each person could interpret what moves, worries or defines them”. In Óbidos, the Nova Ogiva gallery hosts the exhibition “Anti-Corpus”, which presents the works of the final year students of the Fine Arts degree. The exhibition, which opened to the public on June 5, brings together 49 works from the areas of painting to sculpture, from installation to embroidery and from drawing to video. The proposals of “Anti-corpus”, collectively curated by ESAD.CR, “reflect the diversity, boldness and artistic vitality of a new generation of creators”, explains a note about this exhibition that can be seen until July 6.
