Shawn Mendes performs in Lisbon on August 28th

Canadian musician Shawn Mendes will go on a European tour in August, which will include a stop in Lisbon on August 28, the promoter announced today.
The concert will take place at the MEO Arena and will be the penultimate of the European tour, before Munich, on August 31st, as part of the Superbloom festival.
"Coming off a string of stunning festival headliners across Latin America in 2025, multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has announced that he will be 'On The Road Again' this year, with new dates added to his tour in Europe and North America," promoter Last Tour said in a statement.
Tickets – prices have not yet been announced – will be available for pre-sale from Wednesday at 10:00, with general sales starting on June 6th.
In 2022, Shawn Mendes canceled his ongoing world tour, which included a concert in Lisbon in June 2023, due to mental health issues.
Of Portuguese descent, Shawn Peter Raul Mendes became known in 2013. He later participated in a television talent competition and has already released several studio albums.
The musician has received 13 awards from the Society of Authors and Composers of Canada (SOCAN), ten from the television channel MTV Europe, eight iHeartRadio MuchMusic Video Awards, from Canada, and has been nominated twice for a Grammy, from the United States. In 2018, Time magazine named him one of the “100 most influential people in the world”.
