Tiramisù will be the official dessert of the Nova Veneza Italian Festival

Tiramisù, a traditional Italian sweet made with coffee and mascarpone, will be one of the stars of the 19th Italian Festival of Nova Veneza, in Goiás, which takes place from June 5 to 8.
According to a statement from the event's organizers, for the first time Cantina da Nonna, the main restaurant at the event, will have an official dessert, represented by the delicacy created in Treviso, in northern Italy.
In addition, this edition's menu will also feature a new pasta sauce, made with fresh mushrooms and filet mignon.
"At Cantina da Nonna alone, there will be 31 options on the menu, but there will also be around 90 stands selling cuisine, crafts, drinks and sweets", highlighted the festival's note about one of its biggest attractions, gastronomy.
Despite the additions to the menu and the increase in food prices, the festival coordinator, Maria do Carmo Basílio, guarantees that the prices charged will be the same as in the 2024 edition.
"The festival will expand its selection of dishes without increasing prices, ensuring an affordable gastronomic experience full of authentic flavors, taking into account the economic moment that affects everyone," highlighted Basílio.
Other improvements for the 19th edition include the offering of a digital menu, totems and free parking during the event.
"It's our 14th salary. It moves all sectors and puts Nova Veneza on the regional tourism map", highlighted the mayor of the city in Goiás, Valdemar Costa.
Organized by the city government, the event, which is expected to receive around 130 thousand visitors this year, is part of the cultural calendar of Goiás with musical performances, typical dances, crafts, "the famous masked ball", in addition to the "flagship: gastronomy".
