BCP rises 3.5% and Lisbon stock exchange follows European gains

The Lisbon stock exchange followed the rises recorded among the benchmark indices of the main European markets.
The PSI rose 0.94% to 7,545 points. It benefited mainly from the appreciation of BCP shares, of around 3.50%, to 0.698 euros. EDP Renováveis advanced 2.95% to 9.78 euros, while EDP advanced 0.91% to 3.642 euros. CTT saw an increase of 1.38% to 7.36 euros.
On the other hand, Altri fell 0.98% to 5.07 euros, while Corticeira Amorim gained 0.51% to 7.78 euros.
Abroad, the banking sector had a particularly positive day and placed Spain at the top of the gains, adding 1.51%. This was followed by advances of 1.17% in Italy, 0.91% in Germany, 0.75% in France and 0.23% in the United Kingdom. At the same time, the Euro Stoxx 50 advanced 0.97%.
In the futures market, there are sharp falls. The barrel of Brent is falling 3.35% to 71.74 dollars, while crude oil is down 3.37% and remains at 71.74 dollars. In the foreign exchange market, the euro rose 0.29% to 1.1586 dollars per euro.
