Mota-Engil falls more than 4% and the stock market follows European losses

The Lisbon stock exchange ended the day in line with the negative sentiment experienced in Europe, as tensions between Israel and Iran increase.
The PSI index fell 1.31% to 7,447 points. Of note were losses of 4.66% to 3.888 euros per share at Mota-Engil and 3.72% to 0.672 euros at BCP. EDP Renováveis lost 2.05% of its capital and did not go beyond 9.58 euros, while Sonae lost 2.02% and remained at 1.162 euros.
REN saw the sharpest rise, of around 0.83%, to 3.035 euros per share.
Abroad, there were declines of 1.49% in Spain, 1.33% in Italy, 1.10% in Germany, 0.76% in France and 0.47% in the United Kingdom, while the Euro Stoxx 50 slipped 0.98%.
On the futures market, the barrel of Brent rose 3.02% to 75.44 dollars, while crude advanced 2.98% to 72.34 dollars per barrel.
On the foreign exchange market, the euro is falling 0.22% against the dollar, so one euro is being traded for 1.1534 dollars.
