Over R$1 billion in investments will boost Acre's economy. Small businesses will benefit.

The federal government announced this Friday (8) an investment of approximately R$1.1 billion in initiatives in the state of Acre. Infrastructure, transportation, energy, education, and land regularization sectors will benefit. One of the initiatives launched is Acredita Exportação, a program that will refund 3% of federal taxes paid throughout the production chain of industrial goods destined for the foreign market. This and other initiatives enable greater job and income generation for the population while simultaneously stimulating small businesses and the state's economy: 85% of local companies are individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), microenterprises (ME), and small businesses (EPP).
During the event, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva emphasized the need for investment and the importance of creating opportunities for the population. "We need to create conditions so that producers and entrepreneurs from Acre, who produce meat, pork, fish, and nuts, can travel through Peru and sell their products 10,000 kilometers away to China, across the Pacific Ocean. It's a matter of common sense," the president stated.
Lula also emphasized that the federal government has been working hard to secure new markets for Brazilian products in the face of tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump. "The Brazilian government will ensure that our exporters do not suffer losses in this country. In two and a half years, we have opened 400 new markets. We are a country with an extraordinary people, and only they can lead this country. No one else," he said.
For Sebrae president Décio Lima, the Acredita Exportação initiative will contribute to increasing sales of small businesses abroad.
Of the more than 28,000 exporting companies, almost 12,000 are micro and small businesses. This project will boost their exports, gain market share, become more competitive, and sell more abroad. We cannot imagine a world that is not globalized. In this moment of great opportunity, we need to ensure that the Brazilian government continues to understand that this sector needs to be protected from the voracious market, Décio Lima, president of Sebrae.
