Brian Wilson, lead singer and founder of The Beach Boys, has died

Brian Wilson, musician, composer, producer and founding member of The Beach Boys, has died . He was 82 years old.

The news was given by the children through a post on Facebook.

"It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Brian Wilson, has passed away. We have no words to express this moment. Please respect our privacy at this time as our family mourns. We are aware that we are sharing our grief with the world. Love and Mercy," it reads.
