Faster Pussycat frontman Taime Downe spoke for the first time about his fiancée's death. The artist appeared on SiriusXM's 'Trunk Nation' on May 30.
Speaking about the passing of Kimberly Burch, who died after allegedly falling overboard during a cruise in March, the singer said: "It's a rollercoaster."
"I'm hanging in there. Just taking it one day at a time," Taime Downe, 60, added.
"Everyone said that being on the road and doing what I do, being with my family and my band, would be good for me. I took that advice and I'm doing that," he added, adding that talking about Kimberly's death with "close friends" was "good." "But I really don't want to talk about it with strangers because it doesn't feel right. It is what it is."
According to People, Taime Downe commented on the circumstances of his fiancée's death: "I blame the alcohol and the pills."
