Miley Cyrus reveals how she hid drug spending from her accountant

Miley Cyrus recalled her past with drug use and revealed that she made a point of keeping this side 'hidden' from those around her, especially her accountant.

On the Friday, June 6 episode of The Ringer's 'Every Single Album' podcast, he recalled: "Drugs were the biggest cost, and to hide it from my accountant, we would say it was vintage clothes," he said.

Over time, she recalls, the accountant began to question the costs of the "vintage clothes", but the singer always made sure to keep her purchases discreet.

"Every time he saw me, he would ask, 'Where's that original John Lennon shirt you bought for $15,000?' And I would say, 'Oh, it's upstairs,'" he said.

Miley Cyrus also shared that she feels "very happy to have survived that phase of her life."
