President of the AR visits Madeira on October 20th and 21st

The President of the Assembly of the Republic, José Aguiar Branco, will make an official visit to Madeira on October 20 and 21, the regional parliament announced this Tuesday.

In a statement, the Legislative Assembly of Madeira indicates that the announcement was made to the deputies by the president, Rubina Leal, at the conference of party representatives.

“The visit program is currently being drawn up and will be communicated to the parties represented in the Assembly in due course,” the note states.

The trip to the region is at the invitation of the President of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, the statement said.

The conference of representatives also decided to cancel the plenary meeting scheduled for Wednesday, at the “request of the CDS-PP, due to unavoidable political agenda commitments.”
