Trump says Putin is tired of war

Volodymyr Zelenskyindicates that the attack on the minibus left nine dead and put seven more people in hospital.

He takes advantage of the tweet to attack Russia for what he says was its lack of preparation at the meeting in Türkiye.

“Pressure must continue on Russia to stop the killings. Without strong sanctions, without strong pressure, Russia will not pursue true diplomacy,” he writes on the X network.

“Yesterday in Istanbul, everyone saw a weak and unprepared Russian delegation, without any meaningful negotiating mandate. This has to change.”

He once again calls for strong sanctions from the United States and Europe against Russia. “Diplomacy has to start working.”

Trump admits to applying secondary sanctions to Russia if there is no agreement. “I will do it if we don’t reach an agreement. But now it’s Turkey’s turn and we’ll see what happens.”

The application of these sanctions, he tells Fox News , “would be crushing for Russia, because, economically, they are already having a bad time in Russia.

When oil prices went from $65 to $100, “Putin was making a fortune.” But now he says he has managed to bring the price down. “Nobody is making a fortune anymore. And it will go down even more, because I’m drilling,” he says, taking the opportunity to criticize Biden.

A Russian drone hit a minibus in the Sumy region, killing nine people.

Local authorities, cited by international newspapers, indicate that some of the people traveling in the minibus were being evacuated from Bilopillya, a city in the Ukrainian region of Sumy, which has been under Russian attack.
