The registration period for the pre-sale of tickets for the 2026 World Cup matches, hosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico, begins this Wednesday, the 10th. The first stage of ticket sales will have an exclusive draw for Visa cardholders, with tickets available from US$ 60 (R$ 325, at the current exchange rate) for the group stage of the World Cup.

According to FIFA, the registration period for the first phase of ticket sales for the World Cup will open with the Visa Pre-Sale Draw: to participate, you must create a FIFA ID ( access the website here ) and register your interest in purchasing tickets.

Upon registration, fans will be notified by email about the on-sale dates and the purchase process. Registration will be open from noon on Wednesday, September 10th, until noon on Friday, September 19th.

During this period, Visa cardholders will be able to log in to FIFA's sales website. Registration, however, does not guarantee a ticket: the organization will conduct a random selection process, and selected fans will be notified by email starting September 29th, when they will receive a date and time to purchase their tickets—the purchase window opens on October 1st.

According to the organization, individual tickets will now be available for purchase for the 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup, in addition to specific tickets per stadium or per team.

While tickets for the group stage start at R$325, the most exclusive seats for the final, played on July 19, reach US$6,730 (R$36,400 at the current exchange rate).

FIFA highlights that, due to high demand, tickets will be released in different phases, with the next stages starting in October 2025 and continuing until the date of the World Cup final, if there is still stock.

According to the entity, the ticket purchase process may vary depending on the phase, payment method and ticket products, such as fan tickets (for those who want to sit with other fans of the same team) and conditional tickets (such as those who want to reserve a seat for a potential match of their team in a possible qualification for the knockout stage), becoming available closer to the World Cup.

See below for additional ticket sales phases for the World Cup:

  • Phase 2 : Early bird draw, with registration window scheduled for October 27-31, and purchase times scheduled for mid-November to early December;
  • Phase 3 : Random selection draw, with registration beginning shortly after the 2026 World Cup final draw on December 5. At this stage, fans will be able to register interest for specific matches;
  • Phase 4 : Closer to the tournament, fans will be able to purchase tickets from remaining stocks on a first-come, first-served basis;
