Chelsea have not given up on securing Mike Maignan's services despite having their initial offer, estimated to be around €10m, rejected by Milan. The Blues are determined to strengthen their goalkeeping with the French international and are preparing to increase their stakes.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the new offer is in the region of €15 million and will be sent to Milan in the coming days. 'Gazzetta dello Sport', on the other hand, is saying it could be €18 million. The Londoners are aiming to close the deal in time for the Club World Cup, noting that the special transfer window opened by FIFA closes on Tuesday.
Theo Hernández is closer to staying in Milan. The left-back has not yet accepted the offer made by Saudi club Al Hilal and everything indicates that, like Bruno Fernandes, he would prefer to stay in European football.
