Registration for Biorace's main races sold out in three days

The 10-kilometer BioRace Estarreja race, considered the largest obstacle race in Europe, sold out less than 24 hours after registration opened, the organization reported today.
The 9th edition of BioRace, an obstacle race that focuses on contact with nature, will take place on September 20th, in Estarreja, in the district of Aveiro, with around 5000 participants.
Registration opened at midnight on June 1st and in less than 24 hours, the 2850 places for the 10 kilometer race, the main event of the event organized by the local Council, were already filled.
According to the organization, the 5 kilometer race (with 1,400 places), and the elite starts for those looking to compete in the 10 and 5 kilometers (with 300 places) are also already sold out.
This morning, according to the organization, there were only about 30 of the 450 places left for the BioRace Júnior (for children and young people aged 6 to 14).
The BioRia and Baixo Vouga Lagunar trails, in Estarreja, are the stage for this event where, in addition to running, participants will have to overcome several obstacles, with different levels of difficulty.
Jumping, climbing over bales of straw, straws and tires, crossing wooden rollers and pipes, crawling through mud, crossing bumps, carrying tree trunks are some of the stimulating and fun tests of the BioRace Challenge.
