The culturologist noted that symbolic gifts on March 8 were exchanged back in the USSR. Previously, according to Imanakova, women were given carnations on this day. The expert emphasized that corporate culture had a strong influence on this tradition.
Psychologist Kristina Shaidulina previously stated that some Russians do not want to give gifts to colleagues due to a lack of team spirit . In her opinion, sometimes collecting money for gifts can cause internal imbalance in people.
