Doctors have saved a teenager in Primorye who accidentally swallowed a tailor's pin; the operation was successful, the regional Health Ministry reported on its Telegram channel on Saturday. According to the department, the incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Primorsky settlement of Slavyanka, where doctors from the regional children's clinical hospital No. 1 and the regional center for disaster medicine were dispatched. "The reason for the emergency dispatch was urgent assistance to a teenager who accidentally swallowed a tailor's pin... The operation to remove the foreign body was successful," the report says. The doctors also explained that such patients cannot be transported: a foreign body can shift and damage internal organs. The post was accompanied by a video showing the operation to remove a "foreign object from the human body."
