Kaluga Region to Send 10,000 Children on Vacation for Free

This year, Kaluga Region is allocating almost 300 million rubles to organize children's summer vacations. 10 thousand vouchers will be provided to families free of charge — at the expense of the regional budget.
“Since 2020, we are the only region in the Central Federal District that provides such support,” emphasized Governor Vladislav Shapsha.
The priority is given to children of SVO participants and families who find themselves in difficult life situations. More than 340 camps and sites will open in the region this summer, and it is planned to cover over 80 thousand children with recreation. In addition, the Kaluga Region will host more than 600 children from Pervomaysk (LPR), Belgorod and Kursk Regions.
The head of the region emphasized that the key tasks are safety, high-quality content of programs and maximum coverage.
As MK in Kaluge reported earlier, more than 800 million rubles will be allocated for the improvement of territories in the Kaluga region .
