A Nottingham , UK man survived cardiac arrest at 65 and saw the afterlife, he told the Daily Mirror.
As Dave Singleton got older, he developed cardiovascular problems. One day, when he returned home, the Briton felt his heartbeat slowing down. He asked his neighbor to check his pulse, and she, frightened, called an ambulance.
The man was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was connected to life support machines. As soon as Singleton's heart stopped, he was immediately resuscitated. This happened several times. The man recalls that he felt as if he had been beaten by a heavyweight boxer. Despite the doctors' efforts, during one of the attacks, the Briton suffered an eight-minute cardiac arrest. During this period, the man claims, he entered the afterlife.
I was sitting in a beautiful garden, bathed in warm sunlight. There was a tall hedge behind me, and I could hear voices and laughter on the other side. I knew my family and friends were there, so it must have been a special occasion.

Singleton said he felt he should join his loved ones, but instead sat and admired the views of the fields and hills. “I was happy and content,” he said. Suddenly, the vision disappeared and he opened his eyes again in the hospital room. The doctors who had just saved his life were bending over him. “I honestly didn’t want to go back because it was so uncomfortable and noisy,” he said.
After this incident, Singleton was fitted with a pacemaker. According to him, what he saw during the cardiac arrest comforted him and inspired him to create. The man is now 85 years old. Over the past 20 years, he has traveled a lot and painted.
Earlier it was reported that a man named James Reynolds was on the brink of life and death after surgery and saw a white light. According to him, he did not see God, but experienced a strange "warm and fuzzy" feeling.
