Poland opened its border with Belarus.

Poland resumed vehicle traffic on its border with Belarus on the night of September 25, according to the Belarusian Border Committee.
Traffic was restored through the Brest border crossing, closed by the Polish side almost two weeks ago. At 11:00 PM local time on September 24, Belarusian border services began allowing vehicles to cross the bridge leading to the border. By 1:00 AM, the first buses and cars had crossed the border, and the Polish side accepted them on its territory.
On September 23, the Polish Border Guard issued an official notice of its intention to open the crossing points at 1:00 a.m. on September 25. Within 24 hours, Polish border guards began dismantling previously installed barriers, including concrete obstacles, hedgehogs, barbed wire, and metal shields that had previously blocked the bridge over the Bug River.
Poland closed all border crossings with Belarus on the night of September 11-12. Tusk announced the closure on September 9. He cited national security concerns for the Zapad-2025 military exercises, which took place from September 12 to 16 in Belarus. Their primary objective was "the use of troop groups (forces) in the interests of ensuring the military security of the Union State."
On September 6, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended that its citizens leave Belarus and refrain from traveling there. The statement followed the arrest of Grzegorz Havel, a Polish citizen, in Lepiel on suspicion of espionage. According to Belarusian authorities, copies of classified documents related to the exercises were found in his possession. Tusk, however, called the accusations absurd.
