Russian military man talks about situation in Kursk region border area

The situation in the border Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region remains difficult. This was reported to TASS by the commander of the 5th company of the 2nd battalion of the volunteer detachment "Bars-Kursk" with the call sign Boroda.

According to him, the Ukrainian military is launching an endless number of FPV drones, kamikaze drones. The agency's interlocutor emphasized that strikes are carried out on both civilian and military infrastructure.

The military man also noted that during a calmer situation in the area, local residents tried to return to their homes. However, after the situation worsened, many of them left for safer areas.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the progress of the fighting in the Kursk region. The department reported repelling two counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces . Also, over the past 24 hours, units of the North group of forces defeated formations of 12 brigades and two assault regiments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
