An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was detected and shot down by the air defense (AD) on duty as it approached Voronezh. The region's governor, Alexander Gusev , wrote about this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, August 17.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or damage, he noted.
“The immediate threat regimes in Voronezh and the danger of UAV attacks in the region remain,” the head of the region warned.
According to him, air defense forces destroyed several Ukrainian drones over Voronezh. At that time, there were also no reports of casualties or any damage.
