Zagitova said that she plans to continue doing everything related to journalism and hosting programs. "I still work on Channel One as a correspondent - thanks to the channel for this experience. It all started with Ice Age, where I was completely inexperienced, but in the end I spent three seasons of this project," she shared.
Earlier, Zagitova wrote about the pain and joy of the Great Patriotic War in her Telegram channel. In response, sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev advised the figure skater to read literature dedicated to this historical event.
22-year-old Zagitova is the only single skater in Russian history to have won all the world figure skating titles. She became the 2018 Olympic champion, world and European champion, and winner of the Grand Prix Final. In 2019, the figure skater ended her career, focusing on her work as a TV presenter and participation in shows.
