Owners of summer cottages risk getting a fine and later losing their lands if they do not actively use them. This was reported by Vage Rybchenko, head of the legal office of the Moscow Union of Gardeners, in an interview with the Prime agency.
"If the land plot is not used, an order to eliminate the violations may be issued. The amount of the administrative fine depends on the cadastral value of the plot and ranges from 1 to 1.5% of this value, but not less than 20 thousand rubles," the expert noted.
Rybchenko also added that the plot could be confiscated if the owners ignore the relevant requirements.
Earlier, gardeners were explained the intricacies of selling their harvest without paying extra taxes.
