As MK has learned, the Basmanny Court of Moscow is to pass a sentence on Tokarev and his accomplice, former head of Glavstroyinvest Group of Companies LLC, Aleksandr Ivanov, today. According to investigators, Tokarev, who headed Spetstransstroy before his appointment as deputy minister in 2018, facilitated the conclusion of fictitious contracts for his company, which was a contractor for the reconstruction of a bypass section of the railway in Krasnodar Krai. The amount of damage amounted to 423 million rubles. Both were charged under Article 160, Part 4 of the Criminal Code - "Embezzlement". The state prosecutor asked to sentence Tokarev and Ivanov to 9 years in prison.

The Nikulinsky Court is also to sentence former employees of the Chelyabinsk bank "Reserve" headed by the former chairman of the board Konstantin Bazanov. They are also accused of embezzlement and fraud. The investigation brought claims of withdrawal of about 800 million rubles from the credit institution, unjustified replacement of them with bills and issuance of non-repayable loans. Bazanov had already been convicted earlier for theft from a bank in Chelyabinsk and received a suspended sentence of 4 years, now there is talk of new episodes. In total, 5 people are preparing to hear the verdict. The figure of one of them is interesting - Ilya Raevsky. At one time, he was called Bogdan Pogorzhevsky and took part in the preparation of the contract killing of the deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Andrei Kozlov. He was shot dead together with the driver near the Spartak sports complex in Sokolniki on September 13, 2006. According to the investigation, Pogorzhevsky supplied the killers with weapons and gave them a fee for the murder. Thanks to his confession, he received a relatively short sentence - 6 years in prison.

Moscow's Tagansky Court will sentence 24-year-old Emomkhusayn Lugmonov. He was an accomplice of fraudsters and was involved in two extortion schemes against well-known people. Thus, Lugmonov convinced the wife of former Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Kolmakov to leave for a while last May. The swindler said over the phone that the woman was in danger and that she needed to hide without telling anyone. Then he started calling the missing woman's husband and extorting several million rubles, claiming that she had been kidnapped. Lugmonov tried to "scam" the founder of the Gemotest medical laboratory chain, Rudem Gaziyev, using a similar scheme. His student son also disappeared at the behest of a "well-wisher," and his father was required to pay $1 million for his release.
