The energy market is changing. Companies must be very flexible.

- The changing energy market presents companies with new challenges.
- Companies need increasingly better cybersecurity solutions
- Ebicom's offer responds to the latest challenges from customers.
- Ebicom will be present at the upcoming Energy Days in Katowice.
In addition to the challenges related to the development of renewable energy sources (RES) and the growing role of prosumers, process digitization, new regulations, and data security are becoming increasingly important. Ebicom has operated in this world for over 15 years, providing IT solutions for energy companies.
The market situation is changing. Companies must be very flexible."We live in incredibly dynamic times that require companies to be flexible and invest in technology. This is difficult, but necessary, to adapt the market to the new reality and ensure the security of energy supplies – one of the key resources of the modern economy," says Tomasz Kurdelski , CEO of Ebicom.
One of the most important challenges facing the sector is the implementation of the Central Information System for the Energy Market (CSIRE). This project is changing the rules of the entire market: it increases the level of digitization and automation of processes, but at the same time raises questions about the security of critical infrastructure.
"CSIRE is not just a regulatory obligation. It's an opportunity to bring order to the market, but also a huge challenge related to cybersecurity," adds Tomasz Kurdelski.
Changes also affect relationships with end customers. The growing importance of dynamic tariffs and new billing models requires not only the implementation of technology but also customer education.
"Dynamic pricing is the starting point for more complex market models. We already have the ability to simulate and settle them at Ebicom, but their widespread adoption depends on whether customers understand their purpose and benefits," notes Wojciech Glapa, Sales Director at Ebicom.
Ebicom representatives will take part in key discussions at Energy DaysIn parallel, there is an ongoing debate about the competitiveness and future of the energy mix. The end of the coal age, the development of nuclear power, new production technologies, and energy storage – all of these elements will determine the shape of the market in the coming decade .
Ebicom representatives will discuss these topics during the Energy Days conference , which will be held in Katowice on October 1-2. The company will participate in two panels:
As the company explains: "our presence in two Energy Days panels clearly illustrates what topics the company is most closely associated with today: process digitization , data security and regulatory changes."
These are the areas that will determine the pace and direction of energy transformation in Poland in the coming years, and the experience of companies such as Ebicom shows that technology can actually support the market in this process, the company emphasizes.
