60 athletes from the North Caucasus Federal District took part in the Beach Sambo Championship in Dagestan

An open championship in beach sambo dedicated to the memory of the honored coach of Russia Khadzhimurad Bulatov was held on the city beach of Makhachkala.

About 60 athletes from Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia took part in the competition.

The tournament program included a warm-up, demonstration performances by champions and masters of sports, as well as competitions in four weight categories: 58 kg, 71 kg, 88 kg and absolute weight category. For the third time in a row, the victory in the absolute weight category was won by the master of sports of international class in judo and sambo Khaibula Magomedov, who noted the high level of training of the participants.

The event was organized by the Dagestan Sambo Federation together with the regional Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Dagestan and the administration of the city of Makhachkala.
