A monument to the symbols of Sibir and Lokomotiv was unveiled in Novosibirsk

The sculptures will become a meeting place for fans and a place to take memorable photos.

On Physical Culture Day, a monument to the Snowman, the mascot of the Sibir hockey club, and the Moose Lokos from Lokomotiv-Novosibirsk was erected in Novosibirsk. This was reported by the city's mayor, Maxim Kudryavtsev, on his Telegram channel.
The ceremony was opened by Governor Andrey Travnikov and Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev. The sculptures will appear at the Sibir Arena and Lokomotiv Arena — they will become a place for fans to meet and take souvenir photos.
The monument is intended to highlight the region's sporting achievements and inspire young people to engage in sports. The club symbols represent team spirit, loyalty and the desire to win.
Earlier, the city mayor Kudryavtsev congratulated residents on the Sportsman's Day in his Telegram channel. He said that since childhood he dreamed of connecting his life with sports and even planned to enter the Institute of Physical Education in Alma-Ata.
