BC Tambov has been joined by a forward with experience playing in North America

The Tambov basketball club has added 26-year-old Aleksandr Sukhanov to its roster. The term of the agreement with the powerful forward/center has not been announced.

Since 2018, he has played in the NCAA, and five years later he returned to Russia. The 210 cm tall forward played for Barnaul and Yugra. In the last Fonbet Super League draw, he played 35 matches for the club from Surgut (8 in the starting lineup), scoring an average of 8.5 points per game and making 4.6 rebounds.

In total, he has 60 games (12) in the Super League, averaging 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Earlier, the Tambov team was joined by playmaker Vladimir Zabolotnev.
