Regional Spartakiad of pre-conscription age youth is taking place in Chelyabinsk

The third regional Spartakiad of pre-conscription age youth is being held in Chelyabinsk. 24 teams of boys and girls aged 14–17 from sports clubs, educational institutions and patriotic education centres are participating in the competition. The winner will represent the region at the all-Russian stage.

The program includes two days of physical, technical and military training. Participants demonstrate skills in air rifle shooting, swimming, projectile throwing, track and field disciplines (running, jumping), pull-ups, abdominal exercises, and assembling an AK-74 assault rifle.

On the first day, shooting, track and field, and machine gun assembly skills are tested, while on the second day, swimming and military training are tested. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 18. The winner of the regional stage will go to the all-Russian final.
