Moscow Spartak repeated its club anti-record achievement for the number of goals conceded after four rounds of the RPL.
After matches with Makhachkala Dynamo, Kaliningrad Baltika, Tolyatti Akron and Moscow Lokomotiv, the red-whites have conceded eight goals.
The same number was only in 2004 under the leadership of the Italian coach Nevio Scala. At that time, Dmitry Alenichev and Roman Pavlyuchenko were still playing for Spartak.
In the fourth round, Spartak lost to Lokomotiv with a score of 2:4. Thus, the red-whites conceded half of all the goals in a single match.
In the fifth round, Spartak will host Zenit at its home stadium on August 16. Dejan Stankovic's team is currently in 11th place.
