Rodionenko was surprised by Vernyaev’s words that Ukraine should not boycott competitions involving Russian athletes if they are admitted.

The Ukrainian gymnast, according to the coach, looked at the situation differently. She noted that Verniayev had spoken differently before.

Let us recall that the International Gymnastics Federation allowed Russians to participate in international competitions in a neutral status from January 1, 2024, but the athletes refused to participate due to unjustified denials of admission.
