'Eyelid aesthetic surgery is more common in individuals over the age of 40'

Stating that eyelid aesthetics is a general concept, Prof. Dr. Serin said, “In line with the needs of our patients, we provide the patient with a more youthful appearance by removing or reshaping the excess tissue around the eyes that occurs due to age or genetic factors.”

Prof. Dr. Serin emphasized that this need is seen more in individuals over the age of 40, but similar operations can be performed on some people at a young age due to congenital sagging, and stated that it would not be right to perform the same operation on every patient. “Is there eyelid droopiness, or is it just tissue sagging? Is there bagging in the lower eyelid, or is it looseness? We evaluate all of these in detail. Planning is done accordingly,” he said.

'NO NEED FOR FEAR OF TRACE'

Stating that the surgery usually does not leave any scars and that the healing process is fast because the eyelid is well-blooded, Prof. Dr. Serin said, “Of course, this is a surgery. Although it is very rare, there may be scars, but in most patients, the process is completed without scars and with a natural appearance.”
