3 Children Die Due to Severe Cold in Gaza

Despite the ceasefire reached after Israel 's attacks that lasted more than 15 months, the cold weather in Gaza , where the people of the region are experiencing shelter and heating problems due to the restriction of aid, is increasing their suffering. According to the news of the official Palestinian news agency WAFA based on health sources, 3 children in Gaza lost their lives due to severe cold.

Sources said the condition of many children in Gaza, where the cold weather is effective, is "critical".

The number of children dying from cold in Gaza has risen to 10.

According to the government's Media Office in Gaza, seven children had previously died in Gaza due to severe cold.

More than 61,000 Palestinians have died, including 14,000 who disappeared under the rubble, and 2 million people have been displaced during Israel’s attacks on Gaza, which have continued for more than 15 months.

The attacks also targeted hospitals, homes and schools where displaced Palestinians took refuge, destroying 88 percent of the infrastructure of the Gaza Strip.

Due to Israel's long-standing blockade of humanitarian aid into Gaza, the people of the region are in need of aid such as food, clean water, shelter and heating materials.
