A 550-year-old plane tree fell from its roots in Bursa

Yesterday evening, in the garden of İshakpaşa Mosque in İnegöl district, which was built approximately 600 years ago by İshakpaşa, one of the statesmen of the reign of Fatih Sultan Mehmet and Bayezid II, the 550-year-old Eastern Plane Tree fell from its roots and onto the mosque for an unknown reason.

As pieces of the tree trunk leaning against the wall of the mosque fell, police and firefighters were dispatched to the area after people in the area reported the incident.

The teams that conducted the investigation started work to remove the tree.
