Administrative court established in Gümüşhane

The Ministry of Justice decided to establish an administrative court in Gümüşhane.

The decision of the Ministry of Justice regarding the Establishment of Administrative Courts and Determination of Judicial Districts was published in today's Official Gazette.

Accordingly, in accordance with the first and second paragraphs of Article 2 of the Law No. 2576 on the Establishment and Duties of Regional Administrative Courts, Administrative Courts and Tax Courts, it was decided to establish an Administrative Court in Gümüşhane, after receiving the positive opinions of the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Treasury and Finance and Trade.

According to the decision, the jurisdiction of the Gümüşhane Administrative Court will cover the provinces of Gümüşhane and Bayburt.

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, in a post on his social media account regarding the issue, stated that they continue their work to ensure that justice is established in the most effective way and that trials are concluded within a reasonable time.

Tunc noted the following:

"As a result of our work considering the geographical situation and workload, we established an Administrative Court in the province of Gümüşhane. We determined the jurisdiction of the Administrative Court as the administrative borders of the provinces of Gümüşhane and Bayburt. I hope that our court, which will further facilitate our citizens' access to judicial authorities, will be beneficial to our judicial organization, our country and our nation."
