Arkia extended the duration of its flights on that route

Arkia, one of Israel’s leading airlines, has decided to extend its flights from Tel Aviv to New York until October due to high demand. The company will continue to operate three flights per week to John F. Kennedy Airport.
Arkia management announced that the route was seeing higher demand than expected, stating that the occupancy rate on flights was approaching 90%.
On the other hand, the company reportedly plans to increase its flights to European destinations. Arkia CEO Gadi Berlowitz told the Times of Israel that “After a difficult year and six months of war, people want to breathe,” stressing that demand for international flights has increased.
