Back to back medals from national wrestlers

Defeating Serbian wrestler Evelin Ujhalji with a 15-4 technical superiority in the Nordic weight class, Elmira Yasin lost to Hungarian Veronika Nyikos 4-2 in her second match. Having lost to Ukrainian Nadia Sokolovska 7-2 in the semi-finals, the national wrestler once again defeated Hungarian Veronika Nyikos 2-1 in the bronze medal match, thus securing third place in Europe.

TWO CHAIRS AT ONCE

Ayşe Erkan, who started the U20 European Wrestling Championship held in Caorle, Italy with a 10-0 technical superiority victory over Italian opponent Juliana Catanzaro, lost to Ukrainian Oleksandra Rybak 7-3 in the quarterfinals. Defeating Romanian wrestler Maria Pantiru 10-3 in the repechage match, the national athlete took the podium by defeating Hungarian Maya Munk with an 11-0 technical superiority in the bronze medal match.
