Beşiktaş canceled the transfer of Kyle Walker!

Beşiktaş announced that the transfer of English right-back Kyle Walker-Peters, who had reached an agreement in principle but whose arrival was postponed due to family reasons, has been abandoned.

According to a statement from Beşiktaş, Kyle Walker-Peters requested additional time from the club. Beşiktaş rejected his request and the transfer was abandoned.

Beşiktaş's official statement is as follows:

“It is publicly known that the arrival of professional football player Kyle Walker-Peters, with whom we had previously announced that we had reached an agreement in principle and invited him to Istanbul for a medical check-up, has been postponed.

Kyle Walker-Peters has once again requested an extension in the notice he sent to us today.

Thereupon, our club gave up on the transfer of the player in question.

Our club continues its transfer activities in line with the policy it has determined."
