Car and minibus collided head-on: 5 injured, 2 seriously

The accident occurred near the village of Bozca, on a section of the Avanos-Kayseri Highway undergoing roadwork. According to reports, a car with license plate 31 KLY 36, driven by Yaşar A., collided head-on with a transit minibus with license plate 27 APY 58, driven by Şahin Ü., coming from the opposite direction.

Minibus Overturns, Injuring 5 People

The impact of the collision sent the minibus careening onto the sidewalk, sending it careening. Five people were injured in the accident: both drivers and three passengers. Police, gendarmerie, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency), fire department, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. The injured were extricated from their vehicles and taken to Nevşehir State Hospital. Two people are reported to be in critical condition.

Traffic was restricted to a single lane

Due to the accident, the road was temporarily reopened to a single lane. After the vehicles were removed, traffic returned to normal. An investigation has been launched.
